Want your kids to develop their self-awareness and express their emotions through art while practicing their social? Then this is the perfect class for your 10-15 year old girls! I have run this class many times in person and online and it is always popular! I incorporate therapeutic art and cognitive behavioural techniques through hands on, fun projects that encourage conversation. I have over 20 years experience with diverse learners and am a certified teacher and practicing artist. I enjoy spreading my love of art with my students and promise to make this class a fun growth experience! We will explore our sense of self – our values and identities- through different projects and the use of different mediums such as paint, collage, crafts and clay. By the end of the group, students will have a better understanding of who they are and their needs to be happy and healthy and they will have developed strategies for emotional regulation and communication.
