Family-based care services

Key Assets Newfoundland and Labrador offers services that support the safety and wellbeing of children and families in various living situations. Their services include foster care services and supports; clinical and professional services; SNAP emotional regulation training for children; and others. Programs can be adapted for children with various levels of needs.  

Services that may be of particular interest to developmentally disabled children and their families include individualized living arrangements; family engagement services; the Key Foundations enrichment program for young children; counselling services; the Alternative Learning Centre; the Connections socialization program for children and youth; and respite care.
