Disability support services

Independent Living Nova Scotia offers programs and services to people with all types of disabilities in the interest of helping them live independent, self-determined lives. These include independent living skills workshops and training; a Community Access Program supporting group participation in the Halifax Regional Municipality; support for opening Registered Disability Savings Plans including presentations and one-on-one support; Independent Living Support services; autism summer camps for youth; self-managed attendant services for daily living or post-secondary; peer support through community events; and information, referral, and networking services.
