Free Social Thinking® Training for BC Educators – Funded by POPARD

For non-school staff, general registration will be open Tuesday, March 16, at a special reduced rate.

To compensate for the inability to provide in-person conferences or training due to the pandemic, the Provincial Outreach Program for Autism and Related Disorders (POPARD) is generously funding hundreds of free subscriptions for educators from BC public and independent schools [K-12]. This will allow access to pre-recorded training provided by the internationally respected Social Thinking® organization, headed by Michelle Garcia Winner.

School staff can register using the application form to receive access to one of the two Social Thinking pre-recorded training programs listed. You can watch any time between April 15 – June 15, 2021.

Update: All successful applicants will receive a bonus subscription to Social Detective and Superflex, in addition to the choice you make on the form below.

Please register as soon as possible. Registration is done on a first come, first registered basis. Registration will close as soon as all spots are filled, or on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. ACT will confirm if your application was successful by Monday, April 12, 2021, if not before.

Please do not apply for others – this process relies on individuals applying for themselves.

Application form

Please note that only BC school staff [K-12] are eligible for these free subscriptions. If you do not have a school email address your registration cannot be processed. Only one subscription to access one of the options is allowed per individual.

Submissions are now closed for this offer.

If you are supporting a student who has more intensive needs, ACT has a number of appropriate offerings in our Upcoming Events and Autism Videos @ ACT.
