Mental Health System Navigation Videos in Cantonese / Traditional Chinese

By Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre

Summary

These online videos in Cantonese outline British Columbia's mental health system and various professionals families can connect with if they are concerned about their child or youth's mental health. The videos describe what families can expect when they meet with a health professional, as well as how to prepare themselves and their child for that first meeting. Although not specifically focused on autism, this can be a useful start in seeking help with the mental health system in B.C.

This resource is available in: English, Cantonese, Chinese, Farsi, French, Korean, and Punjabi.

The Kelty Mental Health Resource Centre is BC’s information source for children, youth and families dealing with mental health and substance use issues. In addition, the centre offers resources on eating disorders for all ages.
