Tansi Friendship Centre
Programs and Services
Tansi Friendship Centre offers health and social programs to both Native and non-Native people in Chetwynd and surrounding communities, at no cost. Regular programs that may be of particular interest to developmentally disabled people and their families include employment, life skills, and training services; the Better at Home program; community wellness and events; and youth outreach, drop-in, and tutoring.
Through the Kici-Awasimsak Family Centre, they provide services for children including Aboriginal Head Start Daycare, preschool, a parent & tots program, and summer day camps.
