LaFF Programs

The Ladysmith Family and Friends Resource Program (LaFF) aims to promote the healthy development of children and families in the community. They host social and play gatherings for children aged 0-6 and their caregivers.

They currently offer LaFF Outside, an outdoor gathering where children and caregivers can engage with each other, and LaFF’ternoon, a circle program for children up to 1 year of age and their caregivers. Attendees can also access LaFF’s clothing exchange and food pantry.

Additional Details

Mandate: LaFF is a Family Centre for families and caregivers from Ladysmith and surrounding areas with children up to the age of 6 which provides inclusive, interactive opportunities for the development of children, families and community. LaFF’s professionally trained staff and volunteers deliver programming designed to offer families a hand up by facilitating opportunities to make connections in the community, acting as a point of access to supportive resources, and providing hands-on learning opportunities on parenting skills, nutrition education and other skills essential to independence."
