Toward Trauma-Informed Applications of Behavior Analysis

This research article, published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, discusses trauma in relation to applied behavior analysis (ABA), and describes how the core commitments of trauma-informed care could be applied to behavior analysis. The article concludes omitting trauma-informed care from ABA could be detrimental not only to the public perception of ABA, but to the effectiveness of assessment and treatment procedures.
