Nova Scotia Early Childhood Development Intervention Services
Intervention services
Nova Scotia Early Childhood Development Intervention Services supports the development of preschool-aged children and their families throughout the province by offering programs and services free of charge. They offer intervention services for children with additional developmental needs, taking a holistic approach to support the whole family. Other services include the Baby Steps program for parents of babies with complicated starts to life; the Positive Solutions for Families training program; coaching for early childhood educators; and resource libraries, toy and equipment lending libraries, and play groups offered out of some locations.
