Free Online Professional Development Programs

These free online professional development programs from the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration in Autism (CIRCA) have been developed to provide training for professionals in:

– Human Resources and Business

– Dentistry

– Primary Care/Physicians

– Early Childcare

Each Pro-D program includes a series of online modules that are self-paced and interactive. The purpose of each program is to provide learners with practical knowledge and skills to better support and include autistic individuals in all walks of life.

The Centre for Interdisciplinary Research and Collaboration in Autism (CIRCA) was established in 2009 in the University of British Columbia Faculty of Education. CIRCA’s mission is “to support research and professional capacity-building efforts that will improve the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders, their families, and the communities in which they live” [Website].
