The Family Support Institute of BC (FSI) is a provincial not for profit society committed to supporting families who have a family member with a disability.

FSI is unique in Canada and the only grass roots family-to-family organization with a broad volunteer base.

We run a series of online Zoom Family Hangouts and Support Groups as well

FSI’s supports and services are FREE to any family.

Summary

FSI holds a variety of online support groups and hangouts via Zoom. Themes include: Behavior Challenges, Families Receiving Nursing supports, Parents of non-speaking children with Autism, Grief, Single Parents, FASD, Transitions to Adulthood, Navigating Early Years, Dad's Group.

FSI also as a number of workshops on Transitions, Estate Planning, IEPS, and more
