The Halifax Association for Community Living offers support services for people with developmental disabilities and their families throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality. Their services are inclusion support programming, the Halifax Developmental Centre for Early Learning, and the Transition Support Program.
Inclusion support programming includes referrals, workshops and training, planning support, and navigation support, as well as social group activities. The Halifax Developmental Centre offers integrated childcare for both typically developing children and those with extra support needs. The Transition Support Program guides clients through life changes.
