Affirmative Ventures Association is a non-profit organization providing support to adults facing challenges based on disability and/or mental health in Nova Scotia. They offer programs in the areas of Homes, Jobs, and Friends. 

Group housing is available for people recovering from or living with mental illness. Employment skill development services are offered as well as financial literacy training, on the job training at Affirmative Ventures’s social enterprises, and job coaching/development. Social engagement activities include a walking group, financial literacy workshops, and community support teams working with individuals.
