Sensory-Friendly Mornings

Sensory-Friendly Mornings are inclusive events for individuals and families with neurodiverse or accessibility needs. Guests can explore our exhibits and galleries in a comfortable, welcoming and less crowded environment.

Sensory-Friendly Mornings Amenities:

Sensory-Friendly Morning guests can access Science World galleries and exhibits from 8 am – 11 am* with sensory-friendly supports, including:

  • Lowered lights and volume
  • Designated sensory break room
  • Centre Stage show with reduced noise
  • Adjusted exhibit operations
  • Additional signage

*Please note: While Science World opens to the public at 10 am, sensory-friendly accommodations continue until 11 am. Guests are welcome to stay and explore as long as they wish.

The following items are available at Admissions for loan on a first-come, first-served basis:

  • Noise-cancelling earmuffs
  • Sunglasses
  • Sensory toys
  • First-then cards and markers

A piece of ID is required as collateral and will be returned when borrowed items are brought back.

Sensory-Friendly Morning Admission:

As tickets are limited, we recommend purchasing or registering in advance.

  • Non-Members: $18.50 +tax
  • Members: Included

Caregivers: Supervising adults for visitors with disabilities receive complimentary admission (1:1 ratio).

Please note: As this is a special event, Community Access Passes are not valid for admission.
