With school being out soon, parents and families must plan for 2 months of summer break. This can be a time of fun and family activities, but it can also increase stress for caregivers and children/youth with ASD. This session will:
- Review common challenges for children/youth with transitions
- Provide preparation strategies and tips that can support the adjustment to summer break
- Offer resources that can be helpful for families to utilize in the home and seek out in the community
About this Workshop:
- Presented via Zoom (the Zoom link for this session will be included in your confirmation email – if you don’t see a confirmation email after you have registered, check your junk/spam folder)
- Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the Autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend
- This FREE 1-hour workshop will include 45 minutes of content and 15 minutes of Q&A
