Speech-Language Therapist, Rosslyn Delmonico and Special Educator, Shelley Lazarus are excited to present PEERS in a Socially-Distanced Classroom Setting

Social Skills Group for Pre-Teens and Teens

PEERS (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relationship Skills) is a 12-week evidence-based social language intervention program for motivated preteens, teens and young adults who are interested in learning ways to keep and build friendships.

For the Learners
During each small group session, students are taught important social skills and are provided with opportunities to practice these skills through fun and engaging activities (i.e. role plays, board games). Weekly homework assignments are given to provide learners with the opportunity to practice their social skills in real-life situations.

For the Parents and Social Coaches
As parents, you play a vital role in supporting your child during the PEERS training. In our weekly parent groups, valuable coaching techniques will be provided so that you can support your teen in making and
keeping friends. Our meetings which run at the same time as the teen sessions, will equip you in helping
your child with the weekly homework assignments (i.e. hosting a get-together, phoning a friend).
