Join POPARD for a free online session for parents and teachers supporting learning at home.

At the current time many families who have children with ASD are facing indefinite school closures and disruptions in routines. For students with ASD, changes in daily schedules and routines often trigger increased anxiety and challenging behaviors. This workshop will identify the importance of routines and schedules for students with ASD, including how this impacts behavior and learning. Strategies parents can use to establish new routines and schedules that work within their current reality will be reviewed, and time will be provided to engage in creation and planning of supports.

The session will start with a brief introduction of the topic, including practical strategies, resources and guidance. Participants will be provided time to engage in interactive discussion and questions.

No registration required – Click on Zoom link at time of workshop.
