Social Skills Training and Sexual Health Education for Teens
Join our unique 10-week blended social skills and sexual health education program for teens ages 13-18
years old with diverse abilities. This program will focus on teaching important key components to making
and maintaining friendships, socially appropriate behaviours as well as relevant sexual health information
which leads to safer and more fulfilling lives.

Sessions:
Starting a conversation – October 6, 2021
Maintaining a conversation – October 13, 2021
Finding a source of friends – October 20, 2021
Entering and existing a conversation – October 27, 2021
Bullying – November 3, 2021
Knowing Your Rights, Consent, and the Law – November 10, 2021
The Basics (Anatomy, Public vs. Private) – November 17, 2021
Online Safety and Pornography – November 24, 2021
Safer Sex part 1 – December 1, 2021
Safer Sex part 2 – December 8, 2021

Start Date: October 6, 2021
End Date: December 8, 2021
Day: Wednesday
Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm
Age: 13-18 years old
Cost: Free. This program is partly funded by the Community Gaming Grant. We acknowledge the financial support of the Province of British Columbia.
