Have you been looking for a job and had no luck? Would you like some help with your resume and how to do a great interview? Then this is the right workshop for you!
If you are over 19 years of age with Autism (ASD) or a diversability (disability), we invite you to attend our free 1 1/2 hour workshop on learning skills which will help you get the job of your dreams. All you have to do is register and a Zoom invitation will be sent to you monthly for each workshop.
Join Jacob May, Employer and Community Coordinator for the Kelowna WorkBC Centre as he discusses how to find a job, creating a powerful resume and tackling a job interview with ease. He will also discuss how WorkBC assists people with diversabilities find jobs through “Customized Support”. This is designed to assist workers with unique needs. They will design a customized plan and training outline as well as provide regular check-ins, job coaching and support once you are in the job.
This is one of eight special FREE ZOOM workshops offered to self-advocates across the province of B.C. by the Okanagan Self-Advocate Group in Kelowna.
