About The Workshop
In this one hour workshop, you will learn all about RDSPs, and how they can benefit your disabled child or adult child. This will include how and why the plans are set up, the grants that are paid from the government, the life-time benefits to the disabled individual, and more. There will be time for questions and answers at the end for discussion.
About The Presenter
Denise Levine is a mother to a 24 year old moderate to severe autistic daughter, and as such, has spent much time advocating and negotiating for her daughter’s care through the government and various agencies, with great success. Her daughter was also a participant in the Easter Seals camps for 3 years, which is why Easter Seals holds a special place in her heart.
Denise began her career in the financial industry over 30 years ago. She has done a a variety of roles throughout that time, including the areas of training and development, leadership, and project and portfolio management. Denise has also earned a high-level of education over that time, and has the following designations which have assisted her and her clients significantly through her career: Chartered Investment Manager (CIM), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FSCI), and Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC).
