Join Kerry Cavers, Levonne Abshire, Dr. Lisa Gunderson, and Meghan Vaughan as they discuss A Mom’s perspective on the intersection of race and disability.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

  • Learn how racism and ableism intersect.
  • Learn about systemic racism and how that puts racialized children with disabilities at greater risk for violence.
  • Learn how to navigate getting your children the supports they during this time of the greatest Civil Rights Movement in history and Covid 19.
