Join us on September 29th for: Family Centred Practice presented by Diana Elliott and Jackie Watts

Are we really practicing “Family Centred Practice” or philosophy? We will discuss what practice and philosophy mean and if we are effective in our work with Indigenous children and families. Diana Elliott and Jackie Watts will talk from the Indigenous perspective and their work through AIDP/ASCD and the networking with IDP/SCD who support Indigenous children and families.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn what family centred means and if they are truly thinking and working from this philosophy.
  • Learn about AIDP and ASCD and build connections in communities that will benefit families
  • Learn how to engage and connect with Indigenous families and resources that will help families.
