Executive Functioning Camp Level 1

Join our OT for a fun, and engaging Group-Therapy camp focused on Executive Functioning Skills.

This is a 7 week camp that focuses on:

  • Planning
  • Organizing
  • Time Management
  • Working Memory
  • Impulse Control
  • Flexible Thinking

Executive functioning is a set of skills that we use daily to learn, work, and accomplish everyday tasks. These include skills such as working memory, flexible thinking, impulse control and paying attention. When we have trouble with executive functioning we may have difficulty paying attention, focusing, learning new skills, remembering tasks, demonstrating knowledge that we know, staying regulated, and managing day-to-day life.

Throughout the Level 1 camp the clients will get to know their peers in their group, and The OT will facilitate practice of executive functioning skills such as working memory, flexible thinking and impulse control. They will also learn tools to improve their memory, focus and attention, and improve their time management and organization.

Dates of Camp:

September 16 – October 28: Wednesday 5:15 – 6:15
November 5 – December 17: Thursdays 4:45 – 5:45

To register, email or call 604-788-7804.
