A talk by Dr. Ilan Dinstein, Director of NAC, and Panel Discussion with BC Stakeholders Sharing Autism Practice in BC
Bringing together community members, BC autism stakeholders, and scholars to build a common agenda to further our understanding of how variations in development in children and youth with ASD can improve care and interventions.
Simon Fraser University and University of British Columbia invite you to participate in a special visit from Dr. Dinstein from Ben-Gurion University (BGU), Israel. This 3-hour event will include a presentation from Dr. Dinstein about the new National Autism Research Centre (NAC). The NAC conducts cutting-edge autism research on the causes of autism and develops new technologies and treatments for the disorder. The presentation will be followed by a panel discussion to explore needs, gaps, and ideas for how BC organizations/stakeholder groups could benefit from collaboration with BGU. Please bring your questions, ideas, and comments to this lively discussion! Light refreshment will be provided.
