- AutismBC and Recreational Respite
Let’s join together for an introduction to making music class lead by Recreational Respite
Music can be a wonderful tool for self-regulation, self-discovery, and selfcare as it improves mood and promotes connection within the group. The diversity of music though genres and culture will be addressed within the program lending to acceptance and empathy within diversity.
What to expect: Participants will work together in creating and performing music, lending to collaboration, leadership, communication, and social skills. This class is intended to bring together children and youth on the autism spectrum from across BC.
Registration is required for this event and space is limited.
We will join a private zoom room for the class. A link will be sent closer to the date. We will keep the Zoom Room open after the class for those looking to connect with others.
AutismBC puts on these community events and covers the costs so they are free for all members to participate.
