Acting Antics – Summer Program for Teens
Acting Antics is a fun and inspiring program that provides the tools for developing social understanding in individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Developed by Cindy B. Schneider, the activities include making and interpreting inferences from non-verbal cues, taking another’s perspective, and formulating language. These activities can be an effective way of addressing social cognition deficits in children with ASD. Acting antics nurtures the individuals to build confidence, sharpen communication skills and improves knowledge while developing the use of everyday language skills.
Program will run on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 1-4pm.
Program will be run by Sylvia Hunter, M.Ed, BCBA and Eleanor Felton, BA Theatre, Director/Acting coach
