This online guide discusses safety for individuals with autism during childhood, adolescence, and adulthood. The guide addresses safety risks related to wandering, household safety, relationships and sexuality, bullying, the internet, money, and work. It provides parents with suggestions and steps to prevent and mitigate emergencies.

The Organization for Autism Research (OAR) sets out to use applied science to answer questions from parents, families, individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), teachers, caregivers and professionals. The OAR also funds pilot studies and research on issues affecting the autism community.
