Vocational Support Approaches in Autism Spectrum Disorder
This online article briefly summarizes a research review of studies on employment supports for individuals with autism. The study found that job coaching / community placement interventions made individuals with autism more likely to obtain employment, remain in jobs, and earn higher salaries. Some technology aids were effective in improving work performance of individuals with autism.
