Through a collaborative model with industry partners, Threadworks aims to secure practicums, as well as job opportunities for people with employment barriers, such as mental health issues, physical and intellectual disabilities or as refugees. (Website)


This is a skills development program for people with disabilities (including mental health) that is designed to develop sewing skills relevant to the manufacturing and textiles industry in Vancouver.

The program supports social inclusion and opportunities to increase earning potential, confidence, and personal growth.
