Participants needed for a study to improve the quality of health care for minority-language speaking children on the autism spectrum

The goal of this study is to improve healthcare services for children on the autism spectrum who are from minority-language backgrounds throughout Canada. This will be achieved by understanding the barriers encountered by these children and their families when accessing healthcare services.

You are eligible to participate in this study if you are EITHER:
-an adult on the autism spectrum from a minority- language speaking family
-a caregiver of a child on the autism spectrum and a minority-language speaker between 0-6 years old
-a healthcare administrator who has knowledge of the supports offered to children on the autism spectrum
-a community organization working with children on the autism spectrum who are minority-language speakers
-or a clinician who works with children on the autism spectrum who are minority-language speakers,

Participation in this study will involve:
-Taking part in focus group interviews (approximately 2 hours in length) either in person or by Zoom.
