Please join us for a free information session led by Louise Broadley, Manager of Autism Information Services with ACT -Autism Community Training on navigating autism services and interventions available for children with autism living in B.C.
Topics include:
- Next Steps after a diagnosis of autism
- Basics on the Autism Funding Program
- Strategies for setting up your team in a small community
- Setting up contracts with service providers
- The importance of collaboration between professionals and families
There will be time for networking with other families. Representatives from MCFD and community service providers will also be on hand to answer any questions. This free information session is sponsored by MCFD.
Who should attend: Parents and family members of children with autism as well as the professionals who support them including teachers. support workers and health
professionals.
