ACT strives to make our workshops available for online audiences via web streaming whenever possible. For information on ACT’s Web Streaming, such as technical requirements, participation and access details, and visit ACT Live Event Web Streaming. Please note web stream participants are not on camera during the live event, but can communicate with ACT staff and other participants via live chat.
Using Autism Funding to pay
Parents who receive Autism Funding may use 20% of the total for equipment, books, training and travel costs. Visit ACT’s Workshop Registration Using Autism Funding page for details.
ACT provides bursary funds from our own resources and through support from private donors. Bursaries are provided as reduced event registration fees. Anyone attending an ACT event is eligible if the cost is a barrier for attending the event. Priority is given to low-income registrants, in particular, autistic adults and family members of autistic individuals.
While most of our events in 2020 were free, we provided over $8,000 in bursaries to registrants for a single event. ACT opened a bursary program for Indigenous family members and organizations in 2021. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for details. ACT welcomes and gratefully accepts donations to our bursary fund.
