There are a number of strategies and resources in place to support your child’s learning in school. A number of these can be transferred to your home as well. This is known as a Universal or Inclusive Environment. This workshop aims to help you recreate that space for you and your family.

This workshop will help parents/caregivers and educators/community members to develop a better understanding of:

  • Some of the teaching strategies and resources used in the classroom which could be converted to home
  • Supporting behaviour and self-regulation in the home
  • Giving your child consistency and more opportunities to succeed in areas of learning, independence and social interactions
This FREE 1-hour virtual workshop will include:
  • 45 minutes content
  • 15 minutes Q&A
Presenters: Carlye McCloy-Brown & Chelsea Jelic
Please email the Family School Liaison Team directly if you have any questions: fsl@autismoutreach.ca
Audience: This training is primarily intended for parents and families of students who are on the autism spectrum, however educators and other professionals may attend.
