DESCRIPTION:Building Confidence\, Connection\, and Meaningful Relationships
 \nPEERS® for Young Adults is an evidence-based social skills training pro
 gram designed for individuals aged 18–30 who want to strengthen their ab
 ility to make and keep friends and/or develop romantic relationships.\nOri
 ginally developed by Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson at the University of Californi
 a (UCLA)\, PEERS® has gained international recognition and is now offered
  in more than 35 countries worldwide.\nAbout the Program\nResearch shows t
 hat young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)\, ADHD\, anxiety\, de
 pression\, or other social-emotional challenges benefit greatly from parti
 cipating in PEERS®.\nEach week\, participants join interactive group sess
 ions where they:\n\n	Learn concrete\, evidence-based social skills through
  structured lessons\n	Observe and participate in role-play demonstrations 
 led by trained facilitators\n	Practice new skills during group socializati
 on activities designed to reinforce learning\n	This supportive\, step-by-s
 tep approach empowers young adults to build confidence\, strengthen social
  awareness\, and navigate friendships and relationships with greater ease.
 \n\nThe Role of Social Coaches\nA key feature of the PEERS® model is the 
 involvement of Social Coaches—parents\, caregivers\, or trusted adults w
 ho help participants apply new skills in real-life settings.\nSocial Coach
 es:\n\n	Attend the last 30 minutes of the first session to meet the instru
 ctor and other coaches\n	Receive guidance and ongoing strategies for suppo
 rting their young adult throughout the program\n	Reinforce weekly lessons 
 by encouraging practice outside of sessions\n\nThis collaborative approach
  helps ensure meaningful\, lasting progress beyond the program itself.\nEl
 igibility Requirements\nTo participate in PEERS® for Young Adults\, indiv
 iduals must:\n\n	Be 18–30 years old and have completed high school\n	Be 
 experiencing challenges with friendships or relationships\n	Have a genuine
  interest in improving their social skills\n	Commit to attending the full 
 program consistently\n	Participate voluntarily\n	Have a consistent Social
