Our Girls’ Craft Club is suitable for girls (including those who identify as female) ages 6-12 years old who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder and who do not engage in severe challenging behaviour. This group is designed for students who have an interest in crafting as we incorporate arts and crafts into teaching self-regulation and self-advocacy skills.
This girls group will explore the topic of self-esteem including:
- Positive thinking
- Self-Advocating
- Handling rejection
- Handling teasing and bullying
- Building confidence
