Join us April 1st, 2021 for Step 1 to Employment – Self Discovery with Taylor Markell and Joanne Kautz-Allard.

Learn about a new program, “Learning Employment Action Plan” (L.E.A.P.) for youth with barriers to employment from CBI Consultants. In this workshop you will hear about L.E.A.P.’s approach to customized employment for youth with disabilities, mental health challenges, early leavers from high school or other barriers. Knowing your strengths, interests and skills is the most important first step in working towards a fulfilling job. The facilitators will show participants how to develop a “Personal Discovery Profile” which will help job seekers focus their job search.

Learning Objectives:

– Learn how hobbies and interests can be the first step to exploring job interests
– Learn how to uncover strengths and skills and match them to a real job
– Learn how to create a Personal Discovery Profile to help identify jobs that would be a good fit for you or your family member/person you support
