Resources for Exceptional Children and Youth – Durham Region offers programs and services to support children and youth with additional needs. These include early learning inclusion services at child care and recreation programs; coordinated service planning; support for children diagnosed with fetal alcohol spectrum disorder; co-ordination services to connect families with unique service plans; urgent response services for autistic children; funding for children with dual diagnoses; transition workers for children and youth leaving mental health care facilities; and in-school education about mental health.
