Disability Support Program

Under the umbrella of the Disability Support Program, the Government of Nova Scotia offers services to people with intellectual disabilities, long-term mental illness and physical disabilities. These include various options for supported living situations; funding and allowance options for adults and children; day programs for adults including skill development, employment services, social enterprise, recreation, and retirement-age groups; access to assistive technology; and documentation of personal care wishes.
