AccessAbility supports are offered by the Government of Prince Edward Island’s Department of Social Development and Seniors to residents of PEI with diagnosed disabilities up to the age of 65. The program includes personal, housing, caregiver, community, and financial supports.
Personal supports include life skills training, access to assistive devices, independent living support, and specialized care. Housing supports include funding for home and vehicle modifications and paid caregivers in residential settings. Community supports include peer connection groups, participation support, and peer support for disability workers. Caregiver supports include supervision and respite funding and behavioural support. Financial supports are offered for assistance with daily living expenses.

The program supports Islanders with physical, intellectual, neurological, sensory and/or mental disabilities who experience substantial impairments in their activities of daily living. "
