Aboriginal Services

Out of offices in Smithers, Houston, and Dease Lake, the Dze Ḻ K’ant Friendship Centre offers support services for Aboriginal people in the area.

Services in Smithers include the Community Action Program for Children; the Family Gathering program; a holistic health worker; the Learning Hub; mental health outreach; mental health counselling; and the 5×5 Centre of Employment.

Services in Houston include an Aboriginal Early Childhood Development Program; early childhood education; an early years centre; and mental health counselling.

Dease Lake operates a pregnancy outreach program.
